The room was clean with comfy beds and a great decor. Check-in was a bit confusing through the intercom system. Good water pressure in the shower. Parking can be tricky since there's only one free spot.

comfortable stay but cleanliness could improve
The bed provided exceptional comfort which helped me sleep soundly through the night. The shower experience was particularly impressive with strong water pressure and consistent temperature.
There were some shoe marks on the bathroom floor that detracted from an otherwise clean environment.

During my stay, I truly appreciated how close I was to Arthur's Seat for a refreshing hike and to the stunning Princes Street Gardens, both just a short walk away, making it super convenient for evening strolls after a day of exploring. the room was clean and the bed comfy, perfect for a solo traveler seeking to unwind after a busy day.

The location is excellent, just a short walk to the bus stop and close to the city, making it easy to explore. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing ample tea and coffee supplies. the cleanliness was lacking, with visible crumbs and hair from previous guests. The check-in process was frustrating due to a lack of staff availability, which caused delays in getting settled. Despite the inviting decor, the ensuite was cramped and had maintenance issues, affecting the overall experience.

The rooms had a charming decoration with cozy touches that reminded me of my grandmother's house, making my stay feel like a warm embrace. Accessibility features made navigating the guest house a breeze for my fellow senior travelers.
Better heating would enhance comfort during chilly nights.

Decent stay with room for improvement
We had a nice, spacious room that was fancy and clean. Lots of tea options too! But check-in was a pain since no one was around to help, and the shower wasn’t great—constant clogging made it a bit gross. The location was awesome for exploring, just a quick bus ride or a stroll away from the city.

The location of Arrandale is quite convenient. Just a short walk to the bus stop takes you straight into the city center. I appreciated the cleanliness of the guest house. my room and bathroom were always tidy. The bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep after long days of exploring. I encountered a few issues. The room I stayed in had a strange odor that lingered throughout my stay. there was no staff presence most of the time, which made me feel uneasy at times. The toilet in my bathroom was also out of order for a day, but the response to the maintenance need was prompt. Check-in was a hassle. I had to fill out forms that seemed redundant since I had already prepaid. I was frustrated with the wifi charges too—charging for internet in this era feels outdated.
